Robert De Niro appeared in court for a divorce hearing on Tuesday - but tried hard to make sure nobody else found out.
The Raging Bull star attempted to avoid any attention by shielding his face with a newspaper as he walked through Manhattan Supreme Court.

De Niro, 75, is currently fighting for joint custody of the seven-year-old daughter he shares with his estranged wife Grace Hightower.
The couple split in November after 21 years of marriage.

The hearing lasted for three hours, with De Niro and Hightower, 63, sitting on opposite ends of the courtroom, according to the New York Post.
Sources said De Niro read his newspaper during the hearing while Hightower read a book as their lawyers spoke with the judge.

At one point De Niro could be heard trying to quiet his lawyers down as they discussed details of the couple's custody arrangement in the courtroom gallery.
Justice Matthew Cooper said that although De Niro and Hightower had made 'some progress on some difficult issues', there were still 'particulars' of the settlement they needed to work out.

Cooper added that the couple must also exchange statements of their net worth. They are due back in court on February 7.
