Making jokes about his mental health, comedian Pete Davidson made his first appearance in a Saturday Night Live sketch since last month’s alarming social media post indicating he was contemplating suicide.
In the Weekend Update segment with special guest star John Mulaney, Davidson said: ‘As you know, I had a really crazy month and I want to talk about something that matters a lot.’
Mulaney - 'I - Time - Pete - Comedy
Mulaney says: 'I have been spending time with Pete to try to show him you can have a comedy that is not insane. A sober domestic life.'
To which Davidson replies: 'After observing John's life, I publicly threatened suicide.
Joke - Though
'I'm sorry. I shouldn't make that joke. It is funny though.'
Mulaney and Davidson proceed to make numerous jokes about the movie’s premise, in which Eastwood plays a 90-year-old in charge of transporting narcotics.
Davidson - Clemson - Football - Player - Show
Davidson appeared as a Clemson football player on the show’s cold open, which featured Alec Baldwin as President Donald Trump and Kenan Thompson as Steve Harvey.
