NBA TV ratings take a hit because of LeBron James' Laker move

NBA ratings have taken a dip since LeBron James moved three hours west to join the Los Angeles Lakers.

Turner Broadcasting System's ratings for NBA games have dropped 22 percent since the same point last year, the New York Post reports.

ESPN - Hit - Ratings - Drop - Percent

ESPN has also taken a hit in its ratings but that drop was of only five percent.

On Christmas Day, ABC tracked a five percent rise when James and the Lakers squared off against the Warriors in the prime time slot.

Turner - Hit - James - Game - Night

It is believed that Turner took a hit because it didn't have a James game showing at all, on opening night.
