The Strictly Come Dancing pro, 24, is known for his ballroom moves and boyish good looks; but in snaps from his 2019 calendar, AJ displays a moodier side, shedding his shirt and flexing his muscular frame.

And the dancer admits that it's hard to loose muscle in his profession, especially where lots of cardio is involved.
He told MailOnline: 'People ask me all the time what do I do workout-wise and how I keep in shape. Now Strictly has finished I’m in the gym five times a week.
Aim - Whilst - Tour - Day - Day
'My aim whilst on the tour is to go every day. Although I am dancing each day, I like to focus on some weights as well - otherwise it's just cardio. When I am doing cardio I lose my muscle really fast because it just kills it.
'That's why have to do weights in the gym: to ensure I don’t lose my shape and can lift my dance partners above my head.'

AJ stormed through Strictly 2018 with partner Lauren Steadman, getting to the semi-finals. They are now set for the Strictly tour, which starts this week, but AJ will soon be heading out on a solo dance tour, Get On The Floor!
'My aim for my dancing and fitness is to achieve flexibility in those disciplines so I am spending time to make sure I stretch after each workout or dancing session I do to give me further strength and ability,' AJ said.
