Dashcam captures driver crashing into police car and bursting into flames

Police in Florida have released terrifying dashcam video of the moment an out-of-control car crashed into the back of an officer's vehicle and burst into flames.

The fiery crash occurred in November on Interstate 75 in Fort Meyers when a Florida Highway Patrol trooper had stopped to help another driver.

Dashcam video shows trooper Richard Verbiest's car stopped on the inside shoulder of the highway.

Another driver, later identified as Fernando Espinoza, could be seen approaching but swerving off the highway at the last minute to avoid getting into a crash with another vehicle.
