The Sopranos cast reunited on Wednesday to commemorate the show's 20th anniversary.

Actors Edie Falco, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Robert Iler, Lorraine Bracco, Michael Imperioli, Dominic Chianese, Tony Sirico, Steven Van Zandt, Annabella Sciorra, Vincent Curatola and John Ventimiglia were among the cast members to pose on the red carpet at Woke Up This Morning: The Sopranos 20th Anniversary Celebration, an event held at New York City's SVA Theatre.

Also making an appearance at the celebration was Michael Gandolfini, the 19-year-old son of the show's late star, James Gandolfini.

The event was slated to be a mix of chat and clips with the cast and creator David Chase about the series, which first hit the air January 10, 1999, paving a path on television that would forever change the medium.

The event comes days after the release of a new book titled The Sopranos Sessions by entertainment journalists Alan Sepinwall and Matt Zoller Seitz - and a tidbit on what might have been the fate of the Tony Soprano character after the show's 2007 finale abruptly faded to black as the mob boss ate with his family in a diner.
