Jada Pinkett Smith said she had past used the drug ecstasy amid a battle with depression on the latest edition of Red Table Talk.
Jada, 47, made the revelation in a discussion surrounding mental health and the overdose death of rapper Mac Miller at 26 three months ago.

Jada was joined on the Facebook Watch show by her regular co-hosts, mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, 65, and daughter Willow Smith, 18, as well as a special guest in rapper Kid Cudi, 34.
The Girls Trip star said she could have suffered a similar fate as the rapper, who was found dead September 7 in his Studio City, California home following an overdose of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl.

'I didn’t know Mac Miller but once again, when I looked at his circumstances, I just felt for him, because I knew that could have been me, easily,' Jada said. 'I was the same way.
'In my depression, using ecstasy, drinking a whole lot, you know, and smoking a bunch of weed and trying to just find some peace in my mind. It's like, I knew [what] I was doing - I was doing ecstasy because I wanted to party.'
