Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas reportedly had an 18-foot wedding cake.

The confection is said to have been served up at their Christian ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on Friday.

Nick - Chefs - Kuwait - Dubai - Extravagant

Nick, 26, brought personal chefs over from Kuwait and Dubai to whip up the extravagant dessert, according to the leading Indian showbiz magazine Filmfare.

These chefs also prepared the spread at Sunday's Hindu ceremony after visiting local eateries to perfect their grasp of the local Marwar cuisine.

Nick and Priyanka's Hindu wedding at Umaid Bhawan was preceded by a two-hour breakfast and then the Haldi (turmeric) ceremony, the Bombay Times reported.

At the Haldi, the bride and groom separately have a turmeric paste smeared over the skin as a sort of cosmetic measure, somewhat similar to a spa mask.

After the bride washes off the turmeric, she has the Choora ceremony, where she puts on the ceremonial bangles for which the ritual is named.

The men closest to him - in this case, likely including Nick's brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Frankie Jonas - wear less ornate headpieces called pagdis.

Priyanka and Nick's Hindu festivities reportedly featured a 40-foot floral canopy called a mandap, and the bride and groom took an elephant ride around the venue.

The groom had a Baaraat - a procession in which the groom arrives at his wedding on a horse, surrounded by his dancing loved ones and a live band.

Priyanka wore an outfit by the highly regarded designer Sabyasachi Mukherji, who was glimpsed arriving in Jodhpur on Friday.
