Shirley Ballas SLAMS 'nasty and disgusting' fans who have accused her of 'beef' towards Faye Tozer

She was met with opinionated feedback from Strictly Come Dancing fans at the weekend, claiming she had something against Steps star Faye Tozer.

And Shirley Ballas has hit back at these remarks via Twitter, branding some of them 'disgusting'.

Posting a saying by Lori Deschene - 'No matter what you do, someone will have something negative to say. Try not to take it personally. People judge and criticize other people's lives when they're not happy with their own. Follow your heart. Do what's right for you. It's great to consider how your choices will affect the people around you. Just know you don't need everyone's approval to be happy' - Shirley captioned it: 'I love this I was sent today.'

She added: 'After all the negative people and such nasty disgusting comments I received, I post this for anyone out there who has to deal with nasty people.

Kind - Caring - Loving - HATE - Trait

'Be kind caring and loving. I live by that. HATE is an awful trait.'

This comes after fans called the head judge, 58, out on Saturday's Strictly after they accused her of having 'bias comments' and even 'beef' towards contestant Faye.

Steps - Singer - Shirley - Remarks - Contestants

The Steps singer, 42, appeared visibly stunned by Shirley's remarks as she suggested that other contestants were 'truly fighting' for the Blackpool live show position next week.

Faye gave an impressive and energetic jive routine to Reet Petite with her dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

The routine was praised by Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell.

Yet Shirley appeared to be unimpressed by the performance and didn't hold back as she critiqued Faye.

She said: 'Well I think it was very confident and extremely capable. I think you are an outstanding dancer, I want to say that first.

'But we're now going into Blackpool week and most people are fighting, truly fighting, for the position - I think it lacks...
