It's been over 20 years since Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, a disease which is known the cause severe tremors.

That didn't stop him from taking the stage with rock legend Joan Jett at The Michael J. Fox Foundation's annual gala, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's, in New York City.

Star - Event - Gala - Millions - Dollars

A yearly star studded event, the gala raises millions of dollars in the quest to cure Parkinson's disease.

Michael, 57, looked dapper on the red carpet in a tailored suit and a blue and red striped silk tie.

Actor - Wife - Years - Tracy - Ensemble

The actor smiled alongside his wife of 30 years Tracy, 58, who glowed in a two-piece ensemble with a long black tulle skirt and a black and white embroidered floral sleeveless top.

And, the hosts of the evening got a ton of support during the night from their brood of beautiful children.

Twins - Schuyler - Fox - Aquinnah - Fox

Twins Schuyler Fox and Aquinnah Fox, 23, Sam Fox, 29, and Esme Fox, 17, were dressed to impress as they sandwiched their parents on the red carpet before the soiree.

The Spin City star was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's disease in 1991.
