This Conan interview with the cast of Breaking Bad from this summer resurfaced on Reddit on Wednesday sure takes on a different meaning now that we know Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan is developing a Breaking Bad movie. In the clip, Bryan Cranston says he doesn't think Walter White is dead, which has big implications for what the movie could be.

In the Breaking Bad series finale, Cranston's character, meth kingpin Walter White, apparently died by gunshot while freeing his assistant Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) from neo-Nazis holding him captive. The last shot of the series is Walter White lying on the floor, seemingly dead, as a cop takes his pulse. But what if that was a fake out?

"Maybe Walter White did get away with it," Cranston proposes to Conan O'Brien, then makes a "hmm, what if?" face. Bob Odenkirk says "I don't think so," but maybe Walter White knows something Saul Goodman doesn't?

"Was there a coroner's report?" Cranston continues. "Was there a listing in the obituaries? No!"
