Oklahoma mother shoots dead her son, 18, and injures her two daughters

An Oklahoma mother has been arrested for allegedly shooting dead her 18-year-old son and injuring her two teenage daughters.

Amy Leann Hall, 39, of the small town of Nuyaka, was arrested after she opened fire on her own children on Thursday morning in their home, cops say.

Charge - Murder - Counts - Intent

She faces a charge of first-degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill.

Her son was Kayson Toliver, 18, a senior running back on the Beggs High School football team.

Cops - Call - House - Kayson - Teenage

Cops responded to a 911 call at the house at 6.30am and found Kayson dead and his two teenage sisters wounded - one in critical condition and the other stable, according to USA Today. They were taken to a hospital in Tulsa.

Kloee Toliver was identified as the sister in critical condition. She is a junior at Beggs High School. The name of the other daughter has not been shared. She was a freshman at the high school.

Okmulgee - County - Sheriff - Eddy - Rice

Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice said that Hall was believed to be the biological mother of at least one of the teens.

When cops arrived Hall was driving away from the scene and sheriff's deputies pursued and detained her.

'She - Home - Custody - Sheriff - Rice

'She left the home and we were able to get her pulled over as she was traveling...and get her into custody,' Sheriff Rice said to Tulsa World.
