Andrew Pollack, whose 18-year-old daughter was killed in the Parkland, Florida, school shooting, says it was Democrats and their policies that failed her and the other students.
Pollack’s daughter Meadow was killed in the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February, which took the lives of 17 students and teachers and injured 17 more.

Pollack started by writing, “What/who failed my daughter” and then listed that these were Democratic policies, a Democratic sheriff, a Democratic school superintendent, a Democratic school board and a Democratic teachers union.

In his tweet, he responded to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s pledge that Democrats will push through gun control measures if they take control of the U.S. House in the November midterm elections. Pelosi met with other Parkland parents and gun control activists Wednesday.
“Now Nancy Pelosi is saying that if the Dems take back the House they will take away guns to honor Parkland victims,” Pollack wrote.
