Girl celebrating her Sweet 15 comes under fire for paying homage to the Mexican narco culture

The celebration of a quinceañera, or a Sweet 15, in the Hispanic culture is traditionally held to mark a girl's coming of age, moving on from childhood to adulthood.

But one teen girl has added a bizarre and controversial twist by paying homage to Narco culture and pretending to be kidnapped and rescued in her dance.

Teen - Ballad - Dance - Ode - Tunes

The unnamed teen decided to ditch the traditional romantic ballad dance with an ode to the tunes of the polemical narcocorrido genre which hails the lives of drug smugglers.

The viral Facebook video then shows a choreographed set of what seems to be a two masked actors pretending to kidnap the birthday girl before another actor portraying a police officer rushes at her and places her on his shoulders.
