Days of Our Lives fans want to know more about the woman who has been on the show the longest as of 2018. She is the current longest-running actor on the show with a grand total of 45 years on the show. She’s not taken much time off, she’s not left and come back. She’s not someone who comes and goes throughout the years. She’s someone who rolled up in 1973 to play the role of Maggie Horton, and she’s been around since. Suzanne Rogers is a Days icon. She’s the longest running Salem resident to date, and she’s someone we all want to know more about. She’s clearly got a strong and amazing work ethic, but what else do we need to know about this redheaded beauty?

Suzanne Rogers is really Suzanne Cecelia Crumpler. She was born on July 9, 1943 in Midland, Maryland. She did not always live there, but she grew up in the Maryland and Virginia areas. She was inspired to taken on a career in the entertainment industry by the lovely Ginger Rogers, and that’s where her stage name came from.

Her first job in the entertainment industry was as a Radio City Music Hall as one of the dancers. She was the youngest girl to ever get a job and take the stage there. She still holds that record to this day.

When she was only a toddler of 2, she decided she would dance. She loved it then, she took it up, and she’s been dancing her entire life. She knew she was going to do something on stage, on television, or in the movies, and that’s why she kept dancing.
