New evidence in the horrific fatal stabbing of a star golfer from Spain reveals that her murderer may have had three knives on him at the time of her killing and he sustained cuts that matched the grisly slashes on her body.
Collin Richards, a 22-year-old homeless man of Nevada, Iowa, was arrested and charged with first degree murder in the murder of Celia Barquin Arozamena, 22, on September 17.

Her body was found in a pond at the Coldwater Links golf course in Ames, Iowa. She was a former civil engineering student at Iowa State University and was ranked 69th nationally for US women's golf.
Richards is being held on $5million cash bond and briefly spoke during a hearing at the Story County Courthouse on Friday.
Autopsy - Times - Chest - Head - Neck
An autopsy revealed she was slashed in three times in the chest, as well as in the head, neck and left leg and her blood covered the golf course fairway, according to the Des Moines Register.
Some of her clothes were missing and she was found in a sports bra and golfing skirt. It's not clear if she was sexually assaulted.

Cops said that Richards was interviewed the day after the stabbing and his hand was still bleeding with cuts consistent with a serration mark on Barquin Arozamena’s body.
Investigators also released a search warrant for knives after her death and found three – one found at a campsite Richards is connected to and another two in a garage of where Richards showered after the alleged killing, new court documents say. Cops have not confirmed these knives as the murder weapon, according to We Are Iowa.
