Harry and Meghan release a previously unseen photo

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a previously unseen photo of themselves on social media yesterday.

The couple were snapped holding a large banner emblazoned with 'Invictus Games Sydney 2018' in what is believed to be the grounds of Kensington Palace.

Week - Harry - Meghan - Sydney - Tour

Next week Harry and Meghan will fly to Sydney as they kick off their two-week royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

A major focus of the trip will be the Invictus Games, the Paralympic-style sporting event founded by Prince Harry for wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel.

Harry and Meghan will attend a number of Invictus Games events, including the Closing Ceremony in Sydney.

The new photo, published yesterday, shows a beaming Meghan, 37, wearing what appears to be a black top with black trousers and a long, sleeveless burgundy coat, although the banner covers most of her outfit.

Meanwhile Harry, 34, is smartly dressed in chinos, a light blue-grey blazer and a white open collar shirt.

The relaxed photograph was shared on the official Invictus Sydney Twitter account with the caption: 'Fabulous to see The Duke & Duchess of Sussex Fly the Flag for #IG2018 ahead of their trip...
