Career expert site finds that New Jersey is the most stressed out state in the country

Gardens are supposed to be tranquil and calming to the senses but the 'Garden State' of New Jersey is doing nothing of the sort, topping the list of the most stressful States in the U.S.

Career site Zippia released a list of 10 states where Americans are just too stressed, with Jersey, Georgia and Florida filling out the top three spots.

California - New - York - List - Louisiana

California and New York rounded out the top five on the list and were followed by Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and Mississippi.

To come up with the list, Zippia measured commute times, unemployment, hours worked, population density, home priced to income ratio and percent uninsured population.

If any of the measurements were high in number, that meant that factor caused people to be more stressed out.
