Eminem officially notched his ninth number one album with the success of his surprise album Kamikaze.
“The Real Slim Shady”‘s new project racked up 434,000 equivalent album sales in the week following its Aug. 31 release, according to Billboard. The success of Kamikaze absolutely buries Eminem’s last number one album, Revival, which only earned 267,000 sales in its first week.

Kamikaze also significantly outperformed Revival on the streaming front. Eminem’s latest album boasts 225.5 million on-demand audio streams versus 82.5 million streams for his previous effort.
