Following director James Gunn’s firing due to the resurfacing of old tweets, production on “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” has been put on hold. Marvel and Disney informed nearly 20 crew members who were in Los Angeles for pre-production that they were free to seek other work, according to Variety, and neither company has yet to comment on the matter.
