A husband has been paying tribute to his wife after she crashed her car and was found dead in a creek.
Kevin Davis had been married to Libby for almost eight years but after giving birth a year-and-a-half-ago, she began to suffer from postpartum depression.
Wednesday - Car - Bush - Turnpike - Plano
On Wednesday, she drove her car off the Bush Turnpike in Plano, Texas and crashed into several trees.
She initially survived the car crash which happened around 4.30pm. She managed to get out of the vehicle, but her body was found on Thursday, face-down in a nearby creek.
Cause - Death - Police - Play
The cause of her death is pending but police don't suspect foul play.
Writing on Facebook Kevin paid tribute to his 28-year-old wife who was a schoolteacher, and their 20-month-old daughter, Michelle.
'It - Heart - Wife - Years - Rock
'It's with an extremely heavy and broken heart to say my beautiful wife of 7.5 years, my rock, and Michelle's 'mama' has passed away from this life. Libby was such a bright light in this world, but if you knew her, then of course my telling you is completely superfluous,' Kevin wrote.
'Words can't express the loss this is for me and our baby; that Michelle will grow up without her sweet loving mother is a fact that I can hardly stomach. Thank you all for the love and support, my heart is weirdly full...
