Anthony Bourdain, who committed suicide in June while on location shooting the 11th season of his CNN series Parts Unknown, was nominated for an Emmy for writing the show, which collected seven nominations overall.
Along with the host’s posthumous nod, the show also got nominations for Outstanding Informational Series or Special, as well as in categories for cinematography, editing, sound editing, sound mixing, and short-form non-fiction for segments produced for CNN.com.
