A mother has shared her concerns after her husband slammed her for drinking alcohol during the second trimester of her pregnancy.
The six months pregnant woman, known only as Anon, took to parenting forum Netmums to ask other mothers for their advice on whether her unborn baby's health was at risk after she drank two glasses of wine in one evening.

And while some parents warned the mother against consuming alcohol during pregnancy, most reassured her that the occasional glass of wine was acceptable.
Kicking off the discussion, the pregnant mother-of-one admitted she was 'sick with worry' and predicted a backlash at her confession.

Explaining that she was 24 weeks pregnant with her second child, she estimated that she had consumed six glasses of wine during her first trimester.
She continued: 'Since then I have probably had one glass or two most weeks, sometimes three.

'I hadn't felt particularly guilty about this. It's my second pregnancy, the first time around I didn't drink more than 2 glasses the whole pregnancy, followed the guidelines to a T.'
Explaining that she was more relaxed during her current pregnancy, she revealed that she was a regular gym-goer, as well as working a 'stressful' full time job, looking after her 6-year-old son and travelling on the underground.

'Last night, after a particularly stressful week I had 2 glasses, my husband found out and has hit the roof,' she continued.
'I'm now really worried about the damage I may have been doing. I realise its too late to do anything now, and the best I can do is to stop drinking through the rest of my pregnancy, but I wondered what others thoughts were on the matter.'
