A level students were left bewildered during a French exam after an exam board added an 'impossible to answer' question when they made a mistake creating the paper.
Eduqas has admitted there was an error in a French A level exam taken by more than 800 students.

Parents and students called for an 'immediate review' and answers over how the paper will be graded after an error was spotted in the listening section.
Pupils were asked to give an answer based on a specific recording, however, the answer to the question was not in it.

One student said: 'Half of the skills we needed to pass apparently was to guess what the producers of the exam were thinking while writing it... They were probably thinking of baguettes. Disappointed but not surprised.'
Another added on Twitter: 'French A level exam totally messed up. 2 years of hard work put at risk because exam board messed up questions 3&4 urghhh!!'
