Shock waves are sent through the Love Island villa on Thursday night, when an unexpected dumping is announced.

The upcoming episode of the ITV2 series will see the current pairings, decided only 24 hours before at the re-coupling, choose who they feel are the least compatible duo in their Majorcan abode.

The couple with the most votes will then be forced to leave the villa - with the bombshell news leaving the islanders shocked and distressed.

The islanders are seen enjoying another relaxing evening under the stars, when Eyal receives the shocking announcement via text.

Breaking the news to his co-stars, he reads: 'Islanders, tonight each couple must vote for the two couples who they think are least compatible.

'Those who receive the most votes risk being dumped from the island tomorrow. You must now discuss in your couples who you are going to choose and then submit your decision by text.

Horrified by the news, the couples soon retreat to their own private spaces to decide who they want to send home.

Laura and Wes begin the debate, with the 20-year-old engineer stressing that they have to put their friendships and feelings towards each individual person aside.
