A former fashion assistant at Vogue has been charged with stealing more than $50,000 from her creative director boss.

Yvonne Bannigan, 25, was employed as an assistant to US Vogue creative director​-at​-large Grace Coddington in New York prior to her arrest in April.

Bannigan - Dublin - Ireland - Larceny

Bannigan, who is from Dublin, Ireland, is charged with second and third degree grand larceny.

The young assistant is accused of making $53,564 worth of unauthorized purchases on Coddington's credit card, sources told the New York Post.

Bannigan - Coddington - Property - TheRealReal - Consignment

Bannigan also allegedly sold some of Coddington's property on TheRealReal - an online consignment store.

She is accused of keeping $9,000 in commission for herself.
