Jim Parsons' trip-and-fall injury leads to Broadway's The Boys in the Band cancelling performance

Jim Parsons was injured after he tripped and fell while performing in The Boys in the Band on Broadway Saturday afternoon, leading to the show to cancel its Saturday night outing.

The Houston native, 45, was witnessed by fans Saturday limping as his colleagues took bows in their performance, according to the AP.

Production - Saturday - 'Due - Injury - Cast

The production tweeted on Saturday: 'Due to a minor injury of a cast member, the [Saturday] evening performance has been canceled. Performances will resume Monday night. Please contact your point-of-purchase for refund and exchange information.'
