But Tina Fey, 47, got emotional while talking about her parents during an interview with David Letterman, 71, in a trailer for the latest episode of his Netflix show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

'You'll cut this part out, right?' she joked as the tears began to flow.

'Did both of [your parents] get to see and experience your success?' asked Letterman.
