Netflix's Daybreak Trailer Makes the Apocalypse Look Fun AF

You might get some Election vibes during the first few seconds of Netflix's newly-released trailer for Daybreak, because seeing Matthew Broderick back in the halls of a high school certainly does drum up memories of his ridiculous feud with Tracy Flick (Reese Witherspoon). But as the rest of the preview shows, this new horror-comedy is hardly a sequel to that 1999 dramedy film — unless rigging that student body election did lead to a full-on nuclear apocalypse, in which case, maybe it is!

The new streaming series features Broderick as Michael Burr, the principal of Glendale High School, which becomes front-and-center of the end of the world.
